A Relaxed Cotswold Wedding in the countryside

A beautiful summer wedding for 200 guests, with the reception held in a sun-baked field beside the bride’s family home in the Cotswolds. Following the ceremony at the village church, guests gathered in the field for Champagne and canapés and speeches before moving into an elegant marquee for the wedding breakfast and dancing.

 

Food was provided by Provenance Hospitality with a delicious buffet of slow cooked lamb, barbecued prawns and summer salads followed by locally made ice creams served on usherette trays adorned with flowers and seashells. Children were entertained in their own separate tent while the relaxed celebration continued into the evening with live music, late-night food and dancing. Guests and locals reconvened the next day for a canapé and Bloody Mary lunch party.

 

Working closely with the bride (also the florist!) and groom, Clare oversaw the planning and coordination of the entire event, bringing together the marquee, catering, production, entertainment and other suppliers to create a seamless and beautifully executed celebration in a completely rural setting.
